Welcome to Ankle to Toes Podiatry

Located in Hornsby and Mt Kuring-Gai in NSW, we provide both general podiatry and diabetes education services. We conduct consultations in Cantonese and Mandarin in additional to English to suit your needs. Through tailored consultations, treatment and specific self-management education, we aim to help get you back on your feet to pursue what you want to achieve and keep on top of your diabetes.

Podiatry Services

We provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment of foot and leg conditions for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our clients includes families with children, young professionals, the elderly and those with disabilities or special needs. We provide a broad range of podiatry services, including the management of callus and corns, warts, ingrown toenails including nail surgery, muscular aches and pains from the toes and the heel and to the lower back. Treatments we provide ranges from exercises and shoe inserts, routine foot care to specialist wound management techniques including the removal of non-viable tissue. We assess the developmental milestones of the foot and ankle in children and the condition of the feet for those with diabetes, with the aim of early identification of problems. We also provide falls risk assessment and prevention education for the elderly.

Diabetes Education Services

We provide self-management education for a broad range of people with diabetes mellitus and pre-diabetes as well as their carers, families and friends. We help people with pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes and adults with type 1 diabetes better understand their condition, and provide strategies to help keep their blood glucose levels under control. We will have link you with various support groups (eg. Diabetes Australia) and programs (eg. NDSS) to help support you through living with diabetes. We will ensure you are able to correctly use the medications you have been prescribed, including self-administration of injected medications. We work closely with your GP and your specialists to help you receive the optimal diabetes care. We will also help you prevent, identify and manage diabetes complications. Where needed, we are able to initiate certain glucose monitoring technologies, and help you understand the readings obtained so that you are able to make the right decisions about your everyday activities in balancing your glucose control and your work and life.
